Planning Overseas Travel – Risk Assessment Training

(A half day online course for staff/PGR’s who are involved in the planning of, participating in or approving overseas travel where the Location/Activity/Individual risk is above low)

The half day course will focus on the following key topics;

1. Planning and the Law
2. Understanding and Completing Risk Assessment
3. Location Risk
4. Activity Risk
5. Individual Risk
6. Emergencies and Contingencies

Pre course instructions

1. Please ensure that you have registered and are familiar with CHUBB/Crisis24 Horizon  registration details  as this will be used during the training
2. It would also be useful to be familiar with the Travel for Staff and PGR’s SharePoint Site and have a basic understanding of the UoN Travel process
3. You will be sent a workbook prior to the course that you will need to print off and have with you for the duration of the course.

PLEASE NOTE: There is a £50 cost per delegate. Please send your project code to H&S@nottingham.ac.uk prior to the course. 

A Teams meeting will be sent to your University email address the week before the course.
