Target audience: All staff and postgraduate research students.
PGT who are preparing to undertake a research project as part of their programme of study may also attend.
Course Description:
Working with NHS staff, patients or their data? If yes, then you will require Health Research Authority approval and most likely NHS ethics.
Research governance exists to safeguard participants of health and social care research by setting standards for research conduct, defining how these standards should be delivered and assessing these arrangements once in place.
Alison Thorpe, Kimberly Byrne and Sarah Flynn (members of the Research governance team) will talk you through requirements, triggers, process and top tip to how to navigate the HRA approval.
