The course provides a summary of the key elements of the Equality Act 2010 that staff will need to be aware of within the context of their work with students. This information is provided by a short video Podbriefing.

Learning Outcomes:

To understand the Equality Act 2010 and its application to the relationship between a University and students. This includes being able to define key elements of the Act, including protected characteristics, reasonable adjustments, and direct and indirect discrimination.

Target Audience:
This training is aimed towards all staff at the University.
