The legislation covering the transport of dangerous goods - ICAO / IATA (air), Classification focusing on Class 6.2 and Class 9 Miscellaneous dangerous goods - UN 1845 Dry ice / Carbon dioxide, solid
Category A and Category B shipments
Packing requirements
Labelling of packages
Documentation 
Excepted quantities - an overview

This course is required for those schools shipping biological agents, dry ice and expected quantities of chemicals. The course must be attended every two years to remain up to date. 

 

There will be a charge for attending the course to cover the cost of providing it.  The cost per person will be around £105 each.  Prior to attendance, please forward the project code for recharging the cost of the course to safety-office@nottingham.ac.uk.

 Please Note: If you book a place on this course and fail to attend or fail to give two working days notice of cancellation there will be a charge to cover costs.

 

If you are intending to travel by car to the training venue, please allow sufficient time to locate a parking space and to walk to the training venue, as parking may not be available immediately adjacent.
