Learning Outcomes:
At the completion of this course you should be able to:

  • sort data 
  • assign data validation
  • use a range of find and replace techniques
  • filter data in a table
  • use advanced filters to analyse data in a list
  • apply conditional formatting to ranges in a worksheet
  • utilise text functions
  • understand and create simple PivotTable reports
  • construct and operate PivotTables using some of the more advanced techniques
  • create and edit a PivotChart

Pre-Requisites:

The course is designed for participants who have attended the “Microsoft Excel – Essentials” course or have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

We recommend that you attend the half day “Introduction to Database Design” course which will introduce participants to the concepts behind database design.
