Course Description:

This course will help postgraduate researchers who teach, explore formal and informal methods for evaluating thei teaching. Key metrics will be introduced and utilised as a means to consider how teaching can be improved. This will be an interactive session, comprise input and group activities.

Learning outcomes:

By the end of this workshop participants should be able to:

  • Use a range of methods to evaluate own teaching;
  • Frame own evaluation of teaching within appropriate theoretical models;
  • Appreciate the influence of key metrics to enhancing teaching.
