Learning Outcomes
This 2 hour session will explore the methods and techniques to consider before planning any public engagement activity. It will build on the framework for quality engagement, taking delegates through the different stages of designing and planning public engagement activities.
Participants will:
Identify the purpose and intended outcomes of their planned engagement
Learn how to identify their potential audience, and potential partners who may help engage them
Understand the different types of engagement activity, and identify the most appropriate process for their purpose and audience
Identify the distinct contribution their research can make
Process Presentation and Q&A.
