Process: 90 minute session. A short talk followed by Q&A and discussion.

Brief detail:  

Dr Jane Krause will give a short talk about her experiences of setting up and developing her consultancy whilst still in the first years of her post-doctoral career. Jane was awarded her PhD in Human Nutrition by the University of Nottingham in 2012. She will share her personal insights around balancing a research job (at another midlands university) with her private work, as well as some of her experiences of dealing with tax affairs and developing a client base.
