Course Description:


This course is designed to help you learn the principles of good course design and how to apply them in order to maximise the chance that the students you teach will have a positive experience.


Learning Outcomes:

By the end of this workshop you will be able to:

  • Be able to make your course work as an educational system as well s being able to teach well;
  • Understand what aspects of the course you have the authority to change and what needs to be left as it is;
  • Understand the context in which the course and your students operate, so as to be able to make contextually appropriate decisions.

About the course

This online course was produced by Epigeum as part of their University and College Teaching (UCT) programme.  Each course will take between 2 and 4 hours to complete, and is the equivalent to a half-day workshop.
