Event Description

This brief workshop is for any member of staff who wants to know more about the University’s approach to working inclusively, and who does not have line manager responsibilities. It addresses concerns through a practical approach and includes some discussion on disability, race, and gender equality.

Learning outcomes

By the end of this workshop, participants should be able to:

  • Identify the University’s approach to key areas of equality, diversity and inclusion;
  • Appreciate what inclusive language is, and why it is important;
  • Know where to find further information and support, including the role of line Managers and others;
  • Appreciate expectations around working culture and team work.
