Learning Outcomes

This workshop aims to equip PDPR reviewers to engage with this year's PDPR scheme.  It will also provide an update on the new Appraisal & Development Conversation (ADC) scheme which is scheduled to replace the PDPR scheme next year.

Participants will be able to:

  • Describe the PDPR process
  • Understand the role of the Reviewer
  • Help staff develop a coherent and focused set of goals
  • List some appropriate ways of evidencing performance against the goal
  • Use behavioral competencies to identify areas for professional development for staff being reviewed
  • Give constructive and useful feedback to staff being reviewed
  • Make a fair judgement of performance    


Who should attend:


Anyone who is acting as a PDPR Reviewer for the first time, or wishing to clarify/improve their role as a Reviewer.
