To introduce you to the key issues, requirements and strategies associated with research data management and assist you with the development of a data management plan for your research project(s).

  • Be aware of policy and funding requirements around data management
  • Understand how to manage sensitive data
  • Be able to implement strategies for the storing, naming and backup of data
  • Understand ways of sharing data and licencing
  • Be able to create a data management plan
