Event Description

Identify is who you are, how you think, and how you feel about people you work and study with.

Professional Development are running this interactive session about gender identity to help you in the roles that you have supporting students.  It provides an easy overview and is delivered by an experienced colleague.  It gives you the opportunity to listen to experience/expertise and to ask questions if you wish.

Aims

This event aims to provide an informative and informal opportunity to consider how gender identity affects who you are, how you think and feel, and how this impacts on leaning and working life.

Learning outcomes

• To better understand terminology, think about Trans identities, and consider some of the needs of Trans people
• To better understand what you can do for Trans students and colleagues

Process

This workshop is a combination of presentation and discussion, with the opportunity to ask questions if you want to.
