This one-hour lunchtime session is for academic and research staff and postgraduate research students interested in communicating their research findings through the local and national press. It is strongly recommended for researchers intending to submit a press release entry to the Research Showcase.

Lindsay Brooke, Media Relations Manager and former journalist, will share tips on catching and keeping the attention of your audience, informing and enthusing the reader and  maximising your exposure in the press.  She will also outline how the University’s Communications team can help you to publicise you work.
