Healthy lunches: Mindful Eating
Duration 0.25 days
Team Professional Development

Target audience:
Staff only

We are bombarded with messages about what to eat and drink.  Too much information and mixed messages can disconnect us from our body's ability to tell us what we need.  Knowing what to eat and how much can fill us with stress.  Using mindfulness techniques Mel Wraight will help you tune in to your body with greater compassion to help you make the best choices for you.  Understand your food choices and take steps to enjoy food more fully with mindfulness.  This is not a diet or a nutrition course.

Although these ONE HOUR sessions will provide some opportunities to taste food, we recommend that you don't arrive very hungry because these will be 'tasting' experiences only!  You may wish to eat your lunch before you arrive.

"On the mindful eating course I learnt skills that have many applications, not limited to eating and drinking, and have developed a more balanced and joyful approach to food.  I would recommend it to anyone who eats food and has a body!" Hannah.

About the tutor:

This session will be led by Mel Wraight, an experienced mindfulness teacher trained and engaged in regular mindfulness supervision & CPD in accordance with the UK Network for Mindfulness-based Teacher Training Organisations https://www.ukmindfulnessnetwork.co.uk/.
