This session is designed to help colleagues build trust in their teams through greater accountability in a way that is positive, principled and transparent.
This workshop relates to the Communication”, “Collaboration”, “Adaptability, “Leading others: sets the direction”, “Leading others: Drives performance”, “Leading others: Promotes wellbeing and inclusion” competencies outlined in the Competency Framework.
Please note that a similar workshop was delivered in 2024/25 under the title “Building Trust and Accountability”.
Learning Outcomes:
Define the key characteristics of a successful team and understand how they contribute to the team's overall effectiveness
Create and cultivate a trusting environment to improve communication and maximise learning
Understand the importance of setting clear expectations and how to establish them within a team
Please be aware that this workshop is a discussion-based session with pair and group exercises. You do not have to share anything you are not comfortable with but bear in mind you will be asked to reflect on your own experiences.
