Domestic Abuse Training

This training is designed for staff members whose roles include safeguarding responsibilities, with priority given to staff within the Wellbeing Pillar.

The session will focus on recognising the signs that students may be experiencing domestic abuse, understanding the associated risks, and developing confidence in how to respond appropriately. Staff will also explore how to manage and navigate risk effectively with support from both internal services and external specialist agencies.

In addition, the training will cover the wider impact of domestic abuse on students and their families, alongside the ongoing support options available.
