The Moodle “Get Moodle Ready” session aims to equip colleagues with the support and guidance they need to prepare their module for the new academic year, with particular focus on consistency, engagement and accessibility requirements.
This session is designed for module convenors who are preparing their modules for teaching.
By the end of the session, attendees will be able to:
Understand the reasons behind layout of content and be able to start arranging their content in line with best practice.
Talis Aspire and Echo360 links and awareness of UoN tools for engagement e.g Moodle board.
Moodle ‘Spring clean’, reviewing content from previous years and deleting content or hidden content no longer required.
Know where to find the guidance to support them in completing all steps needed to prepare their modules.
Locate the Brickfields report and the student focused MAIT accessibility tool.
Understand what the Moodle Everywhere policy is and how this impacts modules for 26-27
