Postgraduate research students and research staff writing a data management plan (DMP).
Course description
This course gives practical guidance on creating a data management plan based on our real-world experience of reviewing DMPs. Topics covered include understanding key components of a DMP, answering template questions clearly, and avoiding common data management pitfalls. We will guide you through navigating and using DMPonline, a useful tool we recommend for creating and sharing DMPs.
In advance of this course, you may find it helpful to attend Introduction to the Code of Practice on Research Data Management or complete the Libraries Moodle course, ‘Research Data Management’.
