Information on the Safe Use of DSE is available through a Moodle-based online course http://moodle.nottingham.ac.uk/mod/book/view.php?id=1756130.

This online resource aims to cover:

• Familiarisation with the display screen equipment regulations and University policy
  
• Information regarding the health effects associated with extensive use of DSE

• Information on the ergonomics of the workstation set up and the need to consider work routine
  
  
• Information on workstation assessment and the process within the University
  
  
• Information on entitlements of DSE Users to eyesight testing and monitoring

Who should undertake : all 'users' of display screen equipment i.e. those who are involved in working with computers, laptops and similar electronic devices as a significant part of their job. This online resource is aimed at employees of the University who are classed as DSE Users but it is open to any member of the University.
