Overview
This training course equips you with the skills to deliver engaging sessions that significantly enhance student learning and participation. You will explore active learning techniques, discover effective questioning strategies, and learn how to foster a psychologically safe environment for your students. This course provides practical tools and insights to ensure that every session is interactive and impactful.

Who should attend?
Staff and PGR’s who are at the beginning of your teaching journey. You may be a:
Newly appointed Post Graduate Teaching Assistant (PGTA’s)
Demonstrator
Technician
Anyone who has aspects of delivery or support of teaching and learning in their role and is new to teaching. E.g. roles such as: librarians, careers advisors, education and student engagement, residential experience, support and wellbeing, and counselling.
Post Graduate Research student (PGR’s)
This course is delivered by a member of the Learning and Development Team
