In this course, we will prepare you for more complicated spreadsheets by helping you to understand "absolute" and "relative" cell addressing.

Learn how to correctly position the spreadsheet for printing on paper and insert headers and footers that incorporate the number of pages and repeats titles on each page.

Long spreadsheets can be difficult to work with – we will show you the special features in Excel that will help you.

Learning outcomes:

  • Recognise when and how to use the two types of cell referencing, e.g. absolute and relative
  • Use a simple If Function
  • Printing and Page Setup, set margins, centering, magnifying, headers, and footers including numbering pages, printable area, etc.
  • Manage "long" spreadsheets including page breaks, freeze panes and split windows, including repeating titles

Pre-Requisites:

Delegates are required to have Microsoft Excel 2016 or above installed on their computer.  The features and techniques used in the course cannot be completed in the online Office365 version of Microsoft Excel.
