As part of our Emerging Talent Community of Practice, we'll be exploring a range of topics and challenges that many people encounter during their careers.
Sessions:
1) Session one - Imposter Phenomenon (24/09/26)
This session will explain imposter phenomenon (sometimes called “imposter syndrome”) and introduce ways you might tackle these feelings, if you experience them now or in the future. It’s surprisingly common to experience feelings of being inadequate, or that you have a lack of ability that will be “found out”, at some point in your career.
This session will give you tools to recognise typical examples of imposter thoughts, as well as to support yourself to challenge them.
Please be aware that this session will include reflection on your own experiences and some discussion, although you do not have to share anything you are not comfortable with.
2) Session two - Informal lunchtime catchup (04/11/26)
Join colleagues from the Emerging Talent Community of Practice in person for an informal lunchtime catch up.
This is a social opportunity with no set agenda, designed to help members connect, share experiences and ideas, ask questions and build relationships across the community.
Feel free to buy lunch from the café or bring your own. Unfortunately a dedicated space can't be reserved in the café, so room LG6 is also booked as a backup in case it gets particularly busy (just down the corridor from the café).
