This online session is designed for anyone wanting to prepare for their ADC conversation. Underpinned by our university’s Open Conversation Framework, this session will help you with the skills to have an open and effective ADC with your appraiser. This session will also introduce our university’s ambition to become a ‘learning organisation’, and what this means for your personal and professional development.
You will have time to reflect on your role within the ADC conversation, your achievements and ideas for development moving forward, and approaching your ADC with an open mindset.
The session will cover:
• The purpose of an ADC
• Your role in an ADC and the role of your appraiser
• A before, during and after overview of an ADC for appraisees
• Receiving feedback and reflecting on your achievements and development
• Exploring your ambitions and development opportunities
