Course Description

Prof Gisli Jenkins will provide an overview, using both his editorial and supervisory experience, of ways in which supervisors can support students to publish their research and produce a thesis. Often the balance of encouraging PGRs to publish research as well as stressing the importance of completing a thesis can be difficult. He will comment on strategies to support students achieve this as well presenting challenges in doing so. This seminar will be relevant for all supervisors of PGR students, irrespective of experience.
