Course aim: To provide Health and Safety Coordinators (and Assistants) with University-related health and safety information to support them with their role. This internal course supplements more formal training such as the NEBOSH certificate (for high-risk schools/departments) and IOSH Managing Safely (low risk).

This includes:

• details of the University’s H&S Management Arrangements.
• an overview of the University’s organisation for health and safety.
• the HSC(A) roles and the duties they involve.
• signposting to resources that support the roles.

Who should attend:
Health and Safety Coordinators and Assistants.
