Health and Safety Induction (Online Course)



Overview:

This course is part of the All Staff Statutory Training and will provide the delegate with a holistic Health and Safety induction to our University.


Learning Outcomes:

• Understand hazards that are present at the university
• Understand the legal duties you and your manager have
• Know how to raise a health and safety incident and respond to emergencies
• Know how the Health and Safety department provides support to the university community

Statutory training is defined as the training that the University is legally required to provide all employed staff as defined in law (and consequently legislation can be referenced) or where a statutory body has instructed us to provide training on the basis of legislation. 

Please ensure that you complete the training within the first month of joining the University.  There is no fixed refresher period, but it is suggested that this course is reviewed after a prolonged absence from campus, or any time an individual would like a reminder of the information.

Fire Safety (Online Course)

Embracing Equality, Diversity and Inclusion at the University of Nottingham (Online Course)

Annual Data Protection and Information Security Awareness (Online Course)

This course is not required for UG's.
