These courses are NOT open to postgraduate students - they are designed for University staff only.

This qualification is specifically designed to develop team leadership skills.  You should be working within a team and you may plan day-to-day workloads, monitor tasks, resolve problems, communicate effectively, support change and motivate others. The time horizon for your planning will be mostly short-term, up to 1 year.

The Award course provides an excellent overview to the team leadership role and is ideal for those who want a brief introduction with a short qualification. The course is comprised of three blended learning blocks (each providing learner content, self-paced learner activities and a three hour facilitated workshop). Assessment covers two ILM units and includes two Personal Learning Workbooks and a Personal Learning Discussion with the course leader, Dr Jenny Wilkinson. Cost
There is a £100 charge to attend this course payable by the School/Department and you must engage with all of the learning and assessment to gain certification.  You must complete the registration form prior to attending the first session and details of how to do this will be sent in your joining instructions.
