Academics with reasonable knowledge/experience of social media, who want to make use of this to support a specific policy impact or public engagement campaign based on their research.
This 2.5 hour session will take you through the process of planning a social media campaign to support your policy impact or public engagement work, from thinking about the journey you want to take your audience on to evaluating the success of the campaign. It will help you to think clearly and strategically about how you use social media to share your research and boost its impact.

Learn what kind of content works well on social media, and how to create good quality content
Explore the use of data visualisation and imagery for social media campaigns
Learn about how to track the effectiveness of your social media campaign
Learn about easy to use tools to further develop your campaign and where to go for more support
