Introduction to Recruitment and Selection at the University (Online Course)

Overview

This is a short e-learning module designed to give you the basic knowledge for recruitment at the university and key legislation principles to help you prepare for the in-person workshop, ‘Effective selection and interview skills for chair and panel members’.

This elearning must be completed before you can book onto a date for the in-person workshop.  On completion of this elearning you will be directed to the booking link for the ‘Effective selection and interview skills for chair and panel members’ workshop dates.

Learning outcomes:

By the end of this elearning, you will be able to:

• Understand the university’s approach to recruitment and the importance of inclusive recruitment practices.
• Identify key pieces of legislation that apply to recruitment and selection.
• Understand your responsibilities as a recruiter at the university.

This elearning contains a quiz with a minimum score of 80% to pass.
