This session will guide you through each step of the interview process, helping you prepare and perform at your best to ensure you have every chance of success in securing the job you want. 

This workshop relates to the Communication”, “Adaptability, “Leading Self” competencies outlined in the Competency Framework. 

Please note that a similar workshop was delivered in 2024/25 under the title “How to prepare for a recruitment process”. 

 Learning Outcomes: 

• Identify what recruiters are looking for in a candidate and tailor your interview preparation accordingly. 

• Learn how to confidently present your skills, experiences and strengths during an interview. 

• Identify common interview questions and understand how to effectively approach different scenarios. 

• Develop an understanding of various interview formats and how to handle them. 

Please be aware that this workshop is a discussion-based session with pair and group exercises. You do not have to share anything you are not comfortable with but bear in mind you will be asked to reflect on your own experiences.
