An interactive introductory training session for staff mentors who are or will be mentoring other staff at the University of Nottingham. It is designed for the Learning & Development mentoring scheme, but will also be suitable for staff who will be mentoring through other University mentoring schemes, by invitation. By the end of this session you will:

• Understand the Learning & Development mentoring scheme and your role as a mentor
• Be able to set expectations and conduct a contracting conversation with your mentee
• Understand key skills and behaviours of a mentor
• Know where to find mentoring resources on SharePoint and Teams
