Microsoft: Supported IT Self-Study Session
Duration 2.5 Hours
Team Professional Development
Learning Outcomes:

This session allows you to take time away from your desk to learn at your own pace more about the Microsoft suite of software, or another piece of software, but this would be by prior arrangement only.

Process:

You will use online learning materials and handouts with exercises to improve your knowledge of the software in use at The University of Nottingham.

If you want to study non-Microsoft courses, use the Contact Us before booking to enquire if the software you are using can be supported on the day.

One or more facilitators will be available throughout the session to answer your questions and help you to choose the right learning materials provided that these are within our scope.

Please Note:  This session is not for us to fix problems with your documents - we will try to give you the materials to enable to you learn the process to fix them yourselves!

If you do find it difficult to produce nicely formatted Word documents, then you are strongly advised to attend the Microsoft Word Foundation of Document Creation course.  This will give you the knowledge and principles to be able to create Word documents that are nicely formatted and structured and behave themselves in the first place! You won't regret it, It's definitely worth attending :-)
