Event description
This course will introduce participants to the Impact and KE agenda in the current UK Higher Education context.
Event aims
It will be delivered through presentations, invited speakers and interactive activity. It will:
Discuss context of Impact (including REF) and Knowledge Exchange
Introduce pathways to impact in the sciences (presented with examples of impactful research from the schools)
Explore support available at the University to engage with wider audiences eg. Industry, NGOs, Charitable organisations and the opportunities this presents
Explore where your own research could lead to impact and the best strategy to achieve this
