"If you want to build a ship, don't drum up people to collect wood and don't assign them tasks and work, but rather teach them to long for the endless immensity of the sea."
Antoine de Saint-Exupéry

Leaders play a critical role in creating a sense of direction and purpose, particularly during periods of change. This practical workshop will help you develop and communicate a clear vision that aligns with organisational priorities and operational realities. You will explore tools and frameworks for creating purpose, building engagement, addressing resistance and securing buy-in for change.

Designed for leaders who need to shape direction for teams, services, or wider organisational initiatives, the session provides the opportunity to apply learning to a current change challenge.

This workshop supports the University Leadership Competency Framework, particularly the competencies of Leading StrategicallyInspiring Others, and Driving Change and Innovation.

Please note: This is a highly interactive workshop involving discussion, reflection, and group activities. Participants are encouraged to draw on their own experiences but will not be expected to share anything they are uncomfortable discussing.
