This course is open to all University Staff and Postgraduate Research students.

Pre-Requisites for attending the course:


Attendees must have completed the Improvement Practitioner: An Introduction to Lean Six Sigma Yellowbelt course

Course Aims:

This course is designed to build on participants' knowledge of improvement tools and methodologies of Lean Six Sigma thinking. The interactive day uses a set of scenarios and exercises to demonstrate how the application of Lean Six Sigma can achieve understanding, recognition and delivery of opportunities in your area of the University.

Learning Aims:

Participants will have the opportunity to:

· Identify ways to engage people with your Lean Six Sigma change to generate sustainable improvement outcomes

· Practise previous learning in a simulated environment to embed understanding of using the improvement tools and methodologies of Lean Six Sigma thinking

· Explore where tools and techniques can be applied in their own working environments to bring about sustainable improvements in their processes and ways of working
