This session will introduce you to the Nottingham Accessibility Framework. We’ll talk about the ‘why’ of digital accessibility, we’ll look at the legal and user contexts, and then turn to the ‘how’ of digital accessibility.
We’ll introduce the idea of ‘core accessibility’, the simple habits that everyone can adopt that make a huge difference, and we’ll talk through the various challenges of digital accessibility, and how to handle them.
This session will be of interest to everyone involved in creating digital content - whether in teaching and learning, research, or professional services contexts.
The session will give you the skills and insights necessary to produce content that properly meets the needs of a wide range of users.
