EchoPoll Introduction & PowerPoint Add-in Training

Prerequisites: None (recommended: activate EchoPoll account and download the app in advance, bring your own device, Mobile Phone, Laptop to allow yourself to participate in the activities)

Course Overview

This session introduces EchoPoll, the university’s centrally supported Audience Response Tool. Participants will explore its key features, including the PowerPoint add-in, web interface, and floating toolbar. The session includes a live demonstration from the student perspective, followed by hands-on practice in setting up and running polls in PowerPoint.

Learning Outcomes

By the end of this session, participants will be able to:

• Identify and navigate the main components of EchoPoll
• Participate in and deliver live polling sessions
• Create and manage polls using the PowerPoint add-in
• Understand compliance requirements for session delivery
• Access and interpret session data and reports
• Distinguish between the PowerPoint and web-based EchoPoll interfaces
