Duration 1 hour
Course description
This face-to-face session will introduce you to EchoPoll (the new centrally supported Audience Response Tool) and the EchoPoll web environment.
The session begins with an overview of EchoPoll (the PowerPoint add-in, the web environment and the ‘Anywhere floating toolbar’). You will then be asked to participate in a demonstration as a student to understand the experience and available options when running EchoPoll in a live lecture.
The second half of the session will involve setting up polling in the EchoPoll web environment, the compliance requirements of running a session and how to access data in the reports.
To save time during the session, we recommend logging in to activate your account and downloading the EchoPoll app to your computer before the day. Please bring a device (laptop, tablet and / or phone) with you on the day.
Since this session provides an overview of the different ways to access EchoPoll, you may find that you do not need to attend the alternative ‘Core training for the EchoPoll PowerPoint add-in’ session. If however you wish to attend both sessions, please do. Please note that there are significant differences between the two interfaces.
Note: EchoPoll is currently available at UK campuses only.
This course accompanies EchoPoll: Level 2 training and workshop for the EchoPoll web environment.
Additional EchoPoll training available:
