Course description

This face-to-face workshop builds on the core training for the EchoPoll web environment (the new centrally supported Audience Response Tool) and allows the opportunity to practice using EchoPoll with colleagues.

The workshop will introduce gamification in EchoPoll using the ‘teams’ (groups) option, scores, the leaderboard and ranking slides in EchoPoll. The workshop will also look at how to use symbolic notation in a polling session.  The compliance considerations for these polling activities will be covered.

There will be an opportunity to put your knowledge into practice by setting up polls and trying them with colleagues, with the opportunity to also discuss your teaching practice if you wish to.

To save time during the session, we recommend logging in to activate your account and downloading the EchoPoll app to your computer before the day. Please bring a device (laptop, tablet and / or phone) with you on the day.
