Course description:

Join this session to find out how to use our accessibility checker for Moodle: the Brickfield Accessibility+ Toolkit. This tool helps to identify and fix accessibility issues across your Moodle content. We will also introduce the Moodle Accessibility Information Tool, which allows you to signpost to students accessibility issues they may encounter with content within your module.

Learning outcomes:
  • Understand how to submit your Moodle content for analysis
  • Recognise the accessibility errors identified by the Toolkit
  • Fix accessibility errors using the Toolkit and the Moodle editor
  • Use the Moodle Accessibility Information Tool to signpost accessibility issues for students
Who should attend?

This session is for all staff who create or maintain content within Moodle sites across the university.

This session is 1 hour and 15mins.
