This three-hour course is designed for those who have previously completed a Mental Health First Aider (2 day) course and need to refresh their knowledge and skills to retain their qualification. MHFA England mandate that people attend a Refresher course within 3 years after their initial training in order to retain their qualification.
Learning will take place through a mix of group activities, presentations and discussions.
Everyone who completes the MHFA Refresher course will receive a combined manual and workbook that includes a toolkit to support their own mental health, and a certificate of attendance.

However, this course is highly sought after and, due to logistical requirements with MHFA England, we are unable to accommodate last-minute changes to attendees. If you need to cancel your place, please provide at least one week’s notice wherever possible. We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, but we kindly ask that you remain mindful of your commitment to help us avoid unfilled spaces on the course.
If you book a place and do not attend, or cancel your place within 24 hours of delivery, the charge for your place of £31 will be passed to your Department or Division
