Protecting Mental Health and Promoting Wellbeing

Context
Change is certain.
In our teams, roles, organisations, and lives. From restructures and leadership shifts to broader economic and social uncertainty, the landscape we navigate is rarely static. While some people thrive in periods of change, many of us find it unsettling, triggering feelings of anxiety, stress, overwhelm, or even loss of control.
This session explores how change and uncertainty affect our mindset, performance, and wellbeing. Together, we’ll unpack the common emotional and psychological responses to uncertainty, and introduce tools that can help us adapt with greater confidence, perspective, and calm.
Through relatable insights, facilitated discussion, and practical exercises, this workshop helps individuals and teams feel more equipped to move through uncertainty - not by removing it, but by learning to navigate it with resilience, self-awareness, and support.

Session outcomes
1) Understand how change and uncertainty impact our emotional and cognitive responses - and why it's completely normal to feel unsettled.
2) Explore the role of mindset, flexibility and self-compassion in managing uncertainty.
3) Learn practical strategies to build psychological flexibility, manage anxiety, and feel more grounded amidst change.
4) Gain tools to support ourselves and others through uncertain or changing circumstances, both personally and professionally.
