This session provides an opportunity to hear about the Nottingham Recognition Scheme (NRS) if you are new to teaching recognition and to ask questions of the NRS Director.
You may be following the self-directed route or directed route (TLDP) to recognition. Allocation of a mentor for those following the self-directed route, and directions to further resources, will also be discussed.
If you are already working on a draft, you may want to consider attending an NRS workshop, rather than this introductory briefing.

Learning Outcomes

To offer opportunities for staff and PGR students to: 
• understand the context for professional recognition and associated benefits for career development
• understand the process and activities involved in preparing a submission
• have identified a peer network to support submission
• know where to find further resources and development opportunities
• have had an opportunity to ask questions about an individual claim
