The NRS team offer a series of Moderation sessions for Reviewers, on all campuses, to ensure that we support and update you, with a focus on trending issues arising. This is an opportunity to engage with the Reviewer community, to gain support and to see in practical terms the value of your contribution to the scheme. It is also a quality assurance requirement of our accreditation agreement, and therefore compulsory for all Reviewers, on an annual basis, so that you can continue to review in the knowledge that you are up to date and supported
For the 2024/25 reviewing year moderation session focus is:
Making robust and consistent D3 judgements
Crafting robust and specific feedback to participants (all categories) using the proforma
Introducing you to an Advance HE resources for participants (and potentially Reviewers)
Learning outcomes:
Identify and clarify good practice in relation to issues arising (session focus)
Engage with the practicalities of reviewing and the reviewer community
The NRS team are also keen to see discussion about the processes of Reviewing, and to support you as part of the NRS broader team and community.
