This course is available to all staff. It is for you if you want to improve the way that you negotiate in a work place situation.
Sometimes we get involved in one-off negotiations with people who we will not deal with again. We usually try to strike the bargain that is most advantageous to ourselves. However, in a work context, most of what we negotiate over involves ongoing relationships. We need to get the best deal for ourselves but we also need to make it a good deal for the other party in order to maintain the relationship. This course will look at the ways of working to such a win:win solution.
