Learning Outcomes:
At the completion of this course you should be able to:

  • Understand the difference between Office Online and the desktop Office client
  • Sign-in to Office Online
  • Starting online and how it can help you (aka the “Waffle”)
  • Use OneDrive to:
    • Upload, open and preview files
    • Collaborate, internally or externally, using share and copy link
    • Delete and restore files
    • Manage the recycle bin and the second stage recycle bin
    • Move, copy and rename files
    • Restore or view previous versions of files
    • Manage file sharing settings
  • Work with Online Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Create a digital notebook using the note-taking app OneNote which provides a single place for keeping meeting notes, to plan personal or team activities and to help you collect notes linked to websites and documents as you research them
  • Create sections and pages in the OneNote notebook and add in content

Pre-Requisites:
The training is aimed at those who are familiar with using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
