Helping your team to develop resilience in times of continuous change and high levels of uncertainty is a key responsibility of any leader. You don't have to be a team manager to help build resilience either; if you can help the people you work with to feel comfortable with uncertainty then you'll be able to help people to feel more optimistic, perform better and deliver better results.
This workshop relates to the: “Communication”, “Self-leadership”, “Collaboration”, “Adaptability, “Leading others: sets the direction” and “Leading others: Promotes wellbeing and inclusion” competencies outlined in the Competency Framework.
Learning outcomes:
Explore what resilience means to us (for individuals and teams)
Take the opportunity to reflect on our own resilience
Understand the importance of resilience and adaptability in teams
Explore practically what leaders and managers can do to support team resilience
Please be aware that this workshop is a discussion-based session with pair and group exercises. You do not have to share anything you are not comfortable with but bear in mind you will be asked to reflect on your own experiences.
