Are you interested in developing your career, but not sure where to start?
Would you like support in thinking about your career possibilities, and turning this into practical actions?
This session is designed to help you reflect on your approach to career planning, consider your career preferences and priorities for your next steps, and help you with practical techniques, opportunities and resources to help you grow your career.
Learning Outcomes:
This session is available for any member of staff from any job family at any level. The session will cover broad themes, principles, techniques and advice that are universally relevant to help you think about your career planning. Therefore, this will not cover specific advice for individual job roles/pathways.
This workshop relates to the “Self-leadership” competencies outlined in the Competency Framework.
Please be aware that this workshop is an in-person discussion-based session with pair and group exercises. You do not have to share anything you are not comfortable with but bear in mind you will be asked to reflect on your own experiences.
After attending this course: the recommended progression would be to attend ‘Realising your Strengths’ and/or ‘How to Prepare for Recruitment Processes’.
Pre-work: before the session, please complete a short ‘career anchors’ quiz, which we will reflect on in the session: https://psycho-tests.com/test/sheins-career-anchors
