The course will offer practical techniques to identify and manage stress through:
·Developing an understanding of stress and identifying its effects
·Exploration of techniques to promote rest and relaxation and the release of tension within the body
·Explore strategies to improve sleep
·Exploration of thinking styles that may affect stress levels
·Strategies to cope with stress at work and at home.
This workshop will be run by Occupational Therapy clinicians from Healthy Working Futures. This will be an interactive workshop through group discussion offering practical techniques that can be used in the work environment and at home.
Who should attend?
This workshop is open to all staff of the University of Nottingham.
